This is our beautiful friend, Stephanie. We have had a great time getting to know her and her family. We really enjoy time with them! Stephanie is such a sweetheart and once we discovered her "sultry" look, we had a great time capturing some awesome images of her. She is a Senior at Dakota Ridge High School and is a very talented musician. We know she will be great at whatever she decides to pursue in the future.

Meet Sam, he is one of the Seniors we photographed recently. He will be a Senior at Lakewood H.S. this fall and is on the football team. He was such a trooper during our photo shoot because he wasn't feeling well. He makes sickness look good--HA! He also chose to do his shoot at Red Rocks park and also at the beautiful O'Fallen park near Evergreen. We loved working with him. He was really cooperative and has such beautiful eyes!

Goldman Family - family portraits

This is the Goldman family and we recently met them at Clear Creek park for a fun-filled Family shoot. They won our Silent Auction prize donated to the Dry Bones Ministry. We really had a lot of fun on their photo shoot and spent a lot of time laughing and joking around. Their two girls are both headed to Abilene Christian University this fall, Erika as a Junior and Meghan as a Freshman. Their son Nash will be a Junior at Green Mountain High School.

I had to include this final image in this post. Nash insisted on having a picture of him and his parents. His sisters and I were in the middle of "aaahhh'ing" his sweet side when he blurts out, "just wanted everyone to see what the 'new' family will look like". He wanted his sisters to know that he was going to have the run of the house with them both gone!. Hilarious! :-)

Tanner - Senior Portraits

He plays on the high School baseball team and is very talented--they went all the way to Semifinals this past season!

This is another of our Senior Reps for 2010. Introducing Keaton, he will be a Senior at Lakewood High School. We had a lot of fun doing his Senior portraits at Red Rocks Park. He was very adventurous and as a result we were able to capture some beautiful images with awesome natural light. He is the running back on Lakewood's football team and is awesome! We can't wait to come see him playing some games this fall.

Well, we are excited to announce that we are EXPECTING #2!!!! We kept the news quite for some time, but now are ready to talk about it. These pictures were taken at 16 weeks and my little tummy is coming along nicely. Oh yeah, according to our ultrasound on 3/24 we now know that this little one is another BOY! Fall Limited Edition

The session includes one of three different collections (above) with several options of our beautifully-designed holiday cards. Press-printed on heavy cardstock, they are sized at 5×7 and come in an elegant art finish with white envelopes. They are sure to impress every recipient on your list. (These are not your Target-style photo card–trust us!)

While these sessions are shorter than our normal full-length sessions, we will not rush you off until the best portraits are captured. We understand the struggle it can be to get kids to cooperate and we do not want you to leave until we have captured that special image. This is not your run of the mill ‘mall studio’ session turning out stiff ‘stand-against-a-back-drop’ portraits. These are personal and unique sessions that give you a wonderful opportunity to play with your kids and capture real, authentic and beautiful portraits of your children and family in a natural setting.

We will have the full range of card designs for 2008, as well as other products we have available, on the day of your session.

Location Contest

We are having a contest for a FREE SESSION and $50 in print credit.

We are always looking for great new locations to shoot at. So the contest is to help us find some cool, unique, beautiful, or funky shooting locations. Bryan and I will scout out all of the locations on September 15th and then report the winner and the best location.

Jason - Senior

This is Jason and he is a Senior at Green Mountain HS. We were able to work with him last week and he was so fun to work with! He took our suggestions well and even had some poses in mind. He was very easy to work with. He is also a soccer player and will probably be very busy this year. Family Wedding - Weddings

Over the 4th of July weekend, my cousin D.A. married his High School sweetheart, Jen. She is a super sweet girl and we are excited to join her to the family. We were happy to take some candids of the family during the ceremony and reception. Here are some of our favorites from their special day.

This is a friend of D.A.'s that was the interpreter for the wedding. D.A.'s parents are both deaf and there were several other hearing-impaired guests in the audience. It was so nice to have him assisting in this way. And he was a wonderful young man to boot. :)

This is my Dad. He was the minister that performed the ceremony. He did a great job, but I might be a little biased.

This is a great family that we have known for several years. Their mom had a great idea to get pictures of the three boys as a surprise Father's Day gift for Dad. New studio Up and Running...Finally

Hey everyone! We finally have all of the pieces up and running for us to have the studio open. This will allow us to fully explore the creative range of our business and provide our customers options for shoots, other than "on location". And of course, we played around with lighting and everything with our favorite little model...our son. This is Shawn and he is now 9 months old (sigh). This is his Easter suit that my Mom ("Grandma") bought him and his Easter basket filled with fun stuff. :)

Angel Babies

We were thrilled to be asked to take the pictures for this year's Baby Dedication at church. It was so much fun getting to interact with these little bundles of cuteness! I think the pictures turned out so great. I hope you enjoy them!

ProPhoto Learning Center Member

We have joined this great group of Professional Photographers. They have an awesome website that is dedicated to learning and growing your photography business. There is a wealth of information on the website, including: forums, galleries to display your work, reviews of equipment and other photographic tools, articles and tutorials, and a variety of contracts specifically designed for photographers. It is going to be a great asset for our business.

The other exciting thing about this group is the conference they are hosting in Charleston, South Carolina in March. Bryan and I will be attending this conference with a pit-stop in Atlanta to see the Thompson family on both ends of the conference. We are so excited about what we will learn and experience at this conference. Not to mention meeting new friends and reuniting with old friends (Amy!!). More on the conference in a later post.

Rocky Mountain Bridal Expo

Today we attended the Rocky Mountain Bridal Expo. It was a great opportunity for us to see what is available for Weddings in the greater-Denver area, and in the entire state of Colorado. There were a ton of vendors on hand (who knew that Ministers/Officiants actually go to these events offering their services for hire--there were three there today!). We saw a variety of vendors, including: wedding attire (dresses and tuxes), florists, limo services, wedding locations, caterers, and of course PHOTOGRAPHERS.
We wanted to get an idea of what our competition was offering in their packages, what services they provide and the type of albums they offer, so that we can go above and beyond your expectations. I am excited that we will be able to attend events like this in the future, as a VENDOR! But for now we were just there for ideas.

In the words of the writer Elbert Hubbard,

"Do your work with your whole heart, and you will succeed - there's so little competition."

We know that it is the season for getting engaged, especially with the Holidays behind us and Valentines just around the corner. With that in mind, we are currently booking for Weddings in 2008. The New Year

In honor of the New Year, we have decided to start a professional blog for our photography business. It is amazing that it is only the first week in 2008 and so much has already happened.

We will be using this blog to keep you informed of our:

- Photo shoots,

- Specials and Promotions,

- and One-time Special events.
